STEP 1Take Appropriate Course Work To renew your certification, you must earn a certain number of points. The number of points necessary is dependent on your certification type and level. Points are earned through approved coursework. Due to new rules set forth by the Georgia State Board of Examiners for Certification of Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators and Laboratory Analysts, a certain percentage of points must be in approved areas of coursework. Apply for your Renewal
Once the correct number of points have been obtained, renewal candidates must apply for their renewal through the Board of Water & Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators & Laboratory Analysts http://sos.ga.gov/index.php/licensing/plb/54. The option to renew will be available several months before the renewal deadline.
