SUMMARY: This course will expose the student to the concepts of developing and operating a utility wide cross connection control program including the maintenance and management of backflow prevention assemblies within your service area. This course includes a major hands on component which includes conducting backflow tests and field inspections. After completion of this course the student will possess basic knowledge of cross connection control programs and we be familiar with all of the needed resources to develop, operate, and maintain a program.
