SUMMARY: 

In this course, the student is introduced to the everyday processes and operational decisions that go into the operation of an activated sludge treatment system.  The curriculum will cover ABC needs to know criteria for all advanced wastewater license levels, specifically Georgia wastewater class 1.  The student will be exposed to more advanced math calculation that are integral for the daily operation of an activated sludge plant.  This course offers 12 continuing education points for the wastewater operators and wastewater laboratory analysts.
